Choosing a Camera

Go to a camera store (or search online) and you will see a wide range of different cameras, from basic and relatively inexpensive to fully-featured and eye-wateringly expensive. If you’re buying your first camera you could be forgiven for not knowing where to start. Cameras can be roughly divided into four basic types: the camera on a phone (or camera phone), compact, bridge, and system. By deciding which basic type suits your need you can start to narrow down the choice and make a more informed decision.
