File Formats and Picture Parameters

A camera has a number of settings other than its various modes. A good number of these alter the look of a photo, including colour, contrast and sharpness. Understanding what these various settings do will help you refine your photos, so that they come out exactly as intended. However, you may prefer to make these decisions after shooting in post-production. How easily you can change a photo later will be determined by the settings you select.
